Don't overlook skin and hair!

As we change and update our fall wardrobes, let’s not overlook our skin and hair. For fall and winter months preparing the skin for drier, cooler weather is a must.

Skincare is critical this time of year. Double up on the moisturizers (yes –even those of you with oily skin need an oil free moisturizer). But first be consistent with an exfoliant for your face that is gentle enough to use everyday. By doing these 2 simple steps you will notice a smoother palette in which to add new fall color and glamour makeup products. (We will discuss glamour makeup trends in the next article. How’d you like that teaser???)

The “big” beauty news for hair is BUNS. That’s right – buns are back. If you have middle to long length hair and are currently pulling it back a great deal – now you’ll want to finish the look off with a “bun”. The look is pretty and polished. You can either slick the hair back to have a sleek elegant bun style or you can wear a messier version and pull out some wisps around the face (don’t over do the loose hair though).

Until next time – continue to update – it’ll take years off your "look."

People caught in the act of good taste and style!

This fun daisy necklace is great for every body. Accessories like this keep you looking young and style savvy. Ah ... the "must have" corduroy jacket. Great belts like this give every girl the appearance of an hourglass figure.

This girl is smart and stylish. She is wearing jeans instead of pantyhose. They’re more comfortable and less likely to run.

A black dress is
accented with colorful
shoes.

Shoes, purses, and jewelry are a great way to add color to any outfit.

Red accessories
are in and
aren’t they great?

Fall is when unpredictable becomes predictable.

Now that Fall is here, unpredictable weather becomes even more predictable. Yes, that's right. It's reliably changing constantly. How should a person plan to dress for a day that starts out in the fifties and ends in the nineties? Let alone remain stylish though the weather shift?

The answer: Layers! The more layers you wear the more versatile your outfit becomes. Layers are a trend that keeps being improved upon each season and rightly so. Right now my favorite-layered looks are as follows.
1. Corduroy jackets
2. Skirts and dresses over jeans
3. Skirts and dresses over longer skirts
4. Cute hats
All of these can be worn during a chilly morning and when your afternoon heats up just run to the powder room and put your extra skirt in your purse then your good to go.
